The South West Furniture Show returns to Sedgemoor Auction Centre from 11-13th September, with the promise of a host of the latest launches.
The 25 years old South West Furniture Manufacturers’ Agent and Representatives Federation (SWFMARF) are the organisers of this regional agent-led exhibition. This was established to assist trade customers in south-west England and South Wales, and now comprises 50 members, representing over 130 manufacturers and suppliers.
Whilst April 2018 saw the debut of the federation’s South West Bed Show, beds will be present alongside cabinet, upholstery and accessories at this year’s South West Furniture Show, which will take place at Sedgemoor Auction Centre, North Petherton, Somerset. As in previous years, there will be late evenings, a mix of members and manufacturers, drinks vouchers and welcome gifts.

SWFMARF secretary, Maud Laine said “Despite the quiet trade, we’re hopeful that retailers will make the straightforward journey to our location and support the many launches that our members have been working on,”. He also added that many manufacturers and agents are expanding their product ranges to counteract the downturn, and are looking into the possibility of the retailers recognising the various benefits to their footfall, trade and bottom line.
