To maintain the high quality and trustworthiness our global audience expects, we’ve outlined clear editorial guidelines that all writers must follow.

These standards apply to guest contributors, regular columnists, and editorial board members.

• Help readers solve a problem or enhance a space

• Be evidence-informed or experience-backed

• Be inclusive, accessible, and respectful

• Prioritize human-authored insight (not AI-generated filler)

Our tone is friendly, professional, and solution-focused. We write with readers, not at them.

Contributor Guidelines

✅ What We Accept:

• Original articles between 800–1,500 words (depending on topic)

• DIY tutorials, buying guides, inspiration boards, checklists

• Personal experiences with a universal takeaway

• Images or diagrams with usage rights or original ownership

❌ What We Don’t Accept:

• Previously published material

• AI-generated or AI-padded content

• Press releases or sales pitches disguised as articles

• Plagiarism in any form

Global Inclusivity Policy

We welcome writers from all regions and backgrounds. Your voice matters — whether you’re a DIY enthusiast in Nairobi, a decluttering coach in Toronto, or a balcony-gardening expert in Mumbai.

Please:

• Avoid culturally insensitive phrasing.

• Use neutral measurements (cm + inches, Naira + USD if needed).

• Make your content globally understandable but locally adaptable.

Accuracy & Fact-Checking

Our editorial team reviews each submission for:

• Factual accuracy

• Spelling and grammar

• Structural clarity and flow

• Originality

Where applicable, cite sources, include links, and provide context (e.g., “according to the World Health Organization” or “based on 2023 market trends”).

Image Policy

You may:

• Submit your own high-resolution photos

• Use licensed stock images with attribution

• Share visuals via Google Drive or Dropbox

We do not accept images scraped from the internet or taken without consent.

We highlight the profiles and images of seasoned writers as part of our Editorial Advisory Group. These contributors:

• Can publish unlimited posts for life (free)

• Are featured on our About the Editors page

• Receive early access to new writing categories or features

• May be invited for paid editorial opportunities and reviews

Would you like to be featured? You’ll need to:

• Have contributed at least 10 high-quality, published articles

• Agree to editorial integrity standards

• Submit a professional photo and bio

Every published piece includes:

• Your byline
